Vista - PLEASE HELP ME GUYS IM GETTING SO PISSED

i bought a new comp yesterday and it came with windows vista home premium
and everytime i try installing my games it doesnt work the disc tray keeps
blinking but never loads the setup to install the game and it just freezes
the comp saying not responding the games im trying to install are fear and
warcraft 3 please help im getting so frustrated please help me

I already responded to your warcraft 3 message. Fear installed for me with
no problem. Though I didn't have to, You should try right clicking on the
setup file and choose Run as administrator. You should also right click,
choose properties and choose compatibilty and choose XP:SP2 mode.

Also, under advance settings, performance, check to see if your DEP option
is on. It was causing me some problems with FRAPs and TweakVI. It should be
set to "Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only" If
it's set to "Turn on for all programs" that's probably part of the problem.

sorry for the newb questions can you tell me in detailed information how i
get to compatibility and choose xp:sp2 mode can u tell me thanks

They are not newb questions, so don't be sorry for asking.

Under explorer (don't use the Auto-run feature) go to your CD rom drive, and
find the install.exe or Setup.exe and right (not left) click on those files,
Choose properties from the menu, then click on the compatibility tab, The
first option you should see Run in XP: Service pack 2 mode. Check that box
and choose OK. Then right click on the file and you should see the option
that says, run as administrator. Choose that and you should be god to go
