| | Compatibility problem I know most people must be fed up of seeing this, I have just bought an Advent 7113 laptop which is only two days old with Vista premium pre-installed only to find out that it won't run my latest games, although the spec is more than required by the programs, does anybody have any clues or know of any patches before I buy the upgrade for my base unit |

| | not sure you are looking in the right place - to run a game in a compatability mode you need to - right click on the shortcut for the program, then goto properties. Then select the compatability tab - you should then be able to tick a box to run in compatability mode. |

| | RE: Compatibility problem Try the Program Compatibility Wizard which is found in Programs, Accessories (same place as the one provided in XP). You can also create a shortcut on your desktop to the game, right click it, select Properties and then the Compatibility tab to set options for each game. -- P Hutchison |
