Vista - Chess Titans glitch

I really enjoy the chess titans game, and everything works well except one
annoying problem it seems to have. I saved a game in the middle of play,
then later I came and opened chess titans. The unfinished game loaded, just
as I wanted it to do (I chose the 'always save game when closing' option). I
then played the game to its conclusion (in my favor I might add), after which
the statistics were showed and I was asked if I wanted to play again. I
clicked on 'play agian' and a new game loaded. Right about that time (before
any moves were made), I decided I would rather do something else, so I just
closed the program. Later, when I came back and started chess titans again,
my old game came up (the one I won earlier)! Why didn't the new game come
up? This is annoying because I finished the saved game already, and I
expected the new game to load.
Is there any way to change it so that when a game is finished, that game is
finished, as expected?

You can delete the old save game by doing the following:

Start -> Your username -> Saved Games -> Microsoft Games and delete it from
there.

You can also right-click on Chess Titans in the Games Explorer to go
straight to the save folder.

Not really as the save is a snapshot in time, and as such doesn't know if
the game has been finished or not.
