Re: Sims 2

A new Sim2 query:

I've just reinstalled Sims2 on a new Vista system as Administrator, and the
kids want to play on their Standard User Log-in but are unable to access the
Downloaded Content from the EA Games/Sims 2/Downloads content etc., in their
game. Had the same problem in XP Professional, so I had to allow the kids
access to my Administrator login. I'm hoping there's a solution in Vista ...
anything.

I don't want the kids to have to download their own content files, or
duplicate mine (which is substantial), and I'd prefer not to have to give
them access to my Administrator login.

Help please! =)

RE: SIMS 2

I was able to play the sims 2 for about a week when all of a sudden it
crashes in Vista.

I contacted EA games and had no help at all.

NOTE: My game is not an illegal copy.

when it was first installed, it played great.

then i received this error:
http://i15.tinypic.com/3yo45q9.jpg

When I look at the vista problems, this is what was sent:
Problem signature

Extra information about the problem
Bucket ID: 321069932

So then I reinstalled it. Now I get this error:
http://i11.tinypic.com/3zjwxm8.jpg

I hit retry it goes back to the error window.
I hit cancel, it states "do you want to cancel the installation" I say yes
and then the installation starts.

It seems to successfully install only to find when I run it, I get this error:
http://i15.tinypic.com/3yo45q9.jpg

So I installed the Expansion Pack university and still receive all the above
(again a legal copy).

Has anyone seen this error before?

My original sims games work on Vista. I cannot figure out why this did work
and then all of a sudden I'm getting multiple errors.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Sims 2

Try and actualy get a legal version of the Sims 2 and see what happens,
because mine works normally. even with 5377 custom content files.
