Neverwinter Nights (Diamond)

I just bought a brand new GT5404 Gateway computer with Vista. Wanting a cool
D&D game without spending too much, I bought Neverwinter Nights Diamond
Edition at the same time.
After installing this game I found out that it doesn't work with Vista and
there is no patch from the developer yet. Is there any sort of "XP Emulator"
available? The Compatibility Wizard didn't do anything. I tried just about
every possible combination.

It does work in Vista and there is a patch. You have to download it from
inside the game itself using the Update button.

Most of the time it will fail, but read the text when it fails the update.

It will give you a link to a full on patch that will fix the game.

I had to test that game out before my wife would let me install Vista on her
machine at all.
