americas army stuttering under vista premium

ok guys I am now using a vista premium platform that is giving me headaches.

This is happening on a new vista premium system. In game I get a stutter
where game freezes and the imiage zooms/in/out ie stutter.

I stated tracking the timing of the stutter problem and noticed that it
occurs every 60 seconds over and over.

I started disabling startups for virus/devices etc and nothing changed.

I then started working my way thru the event viewer that is now this
enormous expanded tool that tracked everything going on in the vista system.

Finally I found a windows log event for armyops.exe Ie americas army, that
was occurring every 60 seconds. the event is flag an application event
information only and the general description is:

A request to disable the Desktop Window Manager was made by process
(ArmyOps.exe)

I am running aa with the properties set to admin so that I can launch it.
Otherwise AA is running as installed.

There is very little information on the desktop manager so now I am
stuck............

Ideas anyone..........dxdiag follows. partial due to usenet limits
