Missing Games

Hi

I got Windows Vista Business Edition as part of the MSDN Academic Alliance.

I was just looking and the standard games such as inkball, solitaire etc
which should be included are not there.

Can you tell me if there is anything i can do to get a hold of these games.

Kindest Regards

Alastair Hoey

They're not installed by default on the Business SKU.

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off they're
listed under there.

Re: Missing Games

You can go into the control panel | Programs and Features | and on the left
pane, click Turn Windows features on or off.

Games may be there, but the Games Explorer does not install itself on the
Start menu, there should be a "Games" folder when you search through "All
Programs".

If not then I'd say reinstall Business or talk to someone who can
troubleshoot the problem for you.

If the Games Explorer does not appear after "installing", it's possible that
the Start Menu configuration is not 'turned on'...

Right click anywhere on the Task bar; click "Properties"; click on the
"Start Menu" tab; click on the "Customize" button and scroll down to the
"Games" configuration and make sure it is NOT set to "Don't display this
item"....
