Vista - Need for Speed: Most Wanted and possibly other games...

The game stutters! I cannot play it without it stuttering, I turned the
graphics to the lowest avaiblible and it kind of helped but I used to be
able to play full high settings on XP... I disabled Aero and Superfetch
(main culprit because of HDD and memory access), but have yet to try, I want
like 700MB of RAM avaibible, not half. I have only a gig of RAM. Tell me how
to fix the stuttering to help it make the games smoother.

this game runs awesome for me on vista 64 using nvidia 100.65 drivers

(e6600/8800gts OC 320mb)

That should be unnecessary. I *personally* have run most DirectX (as
opposed to OpenGL) games under Vista (including NFS Most Wanted) with zero
issues (ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe, P4 2.6 Northwood-C, 1 GB DDR400, ATI 9700 Pro,
Audigy 2 ZS Gamer LE).
