Vista - Star Wars Best of PC

I have been having trouble getting the games to run, i looked on other
threads i tried what it said on a KOTOR thread to go and reinstall and have
swkotor.exe to admin, and compatability with XP. I keep getting the message
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has stopped working. A problem caused
the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and
notify you if a solution is available.
Please Help

not sure if this is causing the problem, if it is i cant figure out how to
fix it
i did a system check, then with to DirectX diagnostic tool and saw this
under soundtab
"The file ctaud2k.sys is not digitally signed, which means that it has not
been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be
able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer."
