Vista Tutorial - do any games work with vista???????

ok all i am seeing is how games dont work, i have been trying to get age of
empire 3 to work and now luck there. so what games do work with vista.

Age of Empires 3

Battlefield 2.
Battlefield 2142.
Command and Conquer 95.
Civilization 4
Civilization 4 Warlords.
Counter Strike Source.
DefCon.
Doom 3.
Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil.
Half-Life 2.
Half-Life 2 Episode 1.
Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends.
Supreme Commander
The Elder Scrolls Oblivion.
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth.
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth 2.
WarCraft 3.
World of WarCraft.
Zoo Tycoon 2.

In short I don't have any games that don't work.

What are your system specs and what does AoE3 do or not do?

i just got this system 2 days a go from best buy and it has crashed on me 4
times becouse of age of empire 3 and thats not good, amd 2 gig 2gig ddr
nevida 1600 some thing it cost me $800 , the only other thing i have on it is
vegas 6 and dvd architect, for editting and makeing dvd. omg i hope that
works it cost as much as the comptuer

On my old computer, which was capable of playing elderscrolls 4, i needed a
patch to play aoe 3. I cant remember the name however.

Hey - they did include a new minesweeper, mahjong and a few other games -
what more do you want?
surely you don't expect to play any NON ms approved games?

once again a victim of nVidia *sighs*

nVidia's drivers for Vista at this point are horrendous.

Chances are that's what your main issue is.

Also what do you mean by nVidia 1600? They don't make a "1600" card.

Curious what you actually have.

I bought my desktop 4 weeks ago at Best Buy and finally got Sims 2 plus all
EP's working. I got the best computer they had in the store and a lousy
7300LE video card so will have to upgrade that. I wonder why store bought
computers come with the lousy video cards. What is your video card????? That
might be the problem. I thought I wasn't gonna be able to even play Sims 2
but after updating the video card, it started doing pretty good. I have the
100.65 driver.
