RE: Direct x10

Direct X 10 is already on your Vista computer.

You can check:

Start --> dxdiag

On the very first tab [System] you'll see that the DirectX Version is
DirectX 10.

At the moment nVidia are being rubbish. You should write to them at their
website and tell them to hurry up before we all switch to ATI!!!

Because, of course, ATI/AMD actually have DirectX 10 hardware that you can
actually walk into a shop and buy today. And there are so many games out
there that require DX10 hardware and simply won't work without it.

Oh wait. No they don't. And no there aren't.

I'm a happy ATI customer fwiw, and actually having lots of fun playing games
like Supreme Commander on an "old" X1800XT, so I'm not sure what the urgency
is to be honest.

As for driver support & stability, product availability, etc, neither of the
big 2 graphics vendors are exactly covering themselves in glory at the
moment.
