Games and Vista

I have installed Medal of Honor, and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
for my son and they will not work. The pop up says that I do not have
Windows XP. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to make these work?

Re: Games and Vista

You can right click on the executable file (in the directory the game
installed to) and go to properties. Click on the compatibility tab, and
select compatibility mode using Windows XP SP2.

RE: Games and Vista

Some of the games won't even let me install. I'm not sure what I am doing
wrong.

Re: Games and Vista

The Install program does not recognize Vista as a compatable OS.

Explore the install CD. Find the Setup.exe/Install.exe file on the install
CD and right click it and set compatiblity mode to Win XP sp2 and then run
the setup.

Re: Games and Vista

Sometimes in cases like that, I use the Run As Adminstrator option to get
around the XP not found bit.
