Vista - Java & Game Problems

I have read almost every post here, but so far nothing has helped. I have
IE7 which worked great until I installed Vista. At first, I couldn't get any
Pogo games to download. After uninstalling and reinstalling Sun Jave a
gazillion times and trying other suggestions from Pogo, I installed MS Java
and finally can get the games, but can't really play because they keep
sticking. From what I havve read, uninstalling either one or the other
might help but is not likely to happen. I tried to uninstall IE7, but it
wasn't listed on my program list.
Can anyone please help me? Thank you very much.

Ran into similar problem.

where did you get your java from?

I went to: www.java.com, and used the installer link there.

after that, shut down all explorer windows, and then re-open pogo.
