| | Vista game Anyone got "LOTR: Fellowship of the rings" to run on Vista? Home Premium. Tried different compatiblity modes, but the screen blanks at startup and then nothing.. Any help would be appreciated. |

| | Re: Vista game I got the Battle for Middle-earth 2 to run. I'm thinking you're having issues with the movies that play at start. I'd suggest going to where you installed the game and look and see if there is a Movies folder, and if so renaning that to Nomovies and see if that helps. Also, is there a "safe Mode" or maybe a Conifguration tool you can run, before starting the game. Sometimes, games want to start in 640x480 mode and that seems to cause windows to just stop. "B.
