ATI OpenGL Drivers

To Whom It May Concern:

I have the ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 video card and a program that needs OpenGL
drivers. When I open the program (Aerofly) it says that their is "No OpenGL
graphics card driver found!!!" I have talked to your technical support
(ticket # 1204717) and you don't have a driver yet. Does anyone have any
information they could provide?

Thanks,
Norman Trainer

Re: ATI OpenGL Drivers

Read somewhere in a magazine about vista complete disregarding openGL
completely. Rendeing alot of formor software useless,

But also makes API and alot of stuff easyer for guys at
Nvidia AND ati since its only once set of API's instead
of several different sets. So with the new standard we should
ge a more ewen actual performance difference rather than driver
difference on the cards..

So how sad it may sound, im afraid i >>> BELIVE <<< UNCONFIRMED
no OpenGL support in vista At the moment.. But there is ofcourse alot of
talented programmers out there..

But as i said, this is not confirmed only what i raid in a gameing
magazine..
so its prosible all rumors and crap, etc.

Re: ATI OpenGL Drivers

OK here is what is actually going on.

Windows Vista like Windows XP doesn't have native support for OpenGL.
OpenGL is provided by the video driver and so you need to download the
driver from the manufacturers website.

Re: ATI OpenGL Drivers

Have you downloaded the latest ATI drivers? They now have OpenGL support.
