How about helping us and saying what soundcard it is?

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright
until you hear them speak.........

Re: Sound issues!

Oh, now that kind of answer will just get you cursed out in some forums. You
don't know what sound card you have, but you know it's not the sound card,
because other people have the problem ? maybe they have the same sound card
!

I don't play trickster, but I have played a fair amount of WarCraft 3 on
Vista and I don't have issues with sound cutting out. So that might very
well mean that it's certain type of sound cards that as issues. I have the
creative X-FI, you might have the realtek AC97 or a soundmax

This is mostly likely not a Vista issue, but the Vista drivers for your
sound card issue. If you said what sound card, we'd probably be pointing you
to where the latest drivers are at, and suggest you give them a try.

One user noted that turning off V-Sync fixed their choppy sound
