Online Card Games

On my old XP system, when I played the stock games that came with the OS I
could go automatically online to play someone, that option was right there in
the menu bar. I used to enjoy playing a little game of Spades or Hearts with
someone.

Now I don't know how to do it. Is this a change in Vistga or am I missing
something?

Re: Online Card Games

Hello,

We are having trouble with Window's Vista, we have recently upgraded
to the new Window's Vista, but we cannot play Backgammon,
checkers, or any games on the MSN. We didn't have any trouble with XP, but
since getting the new computer with the Window's Vista we
cannot play any of the games online. We upgraded the Active x, it says
all is installed properly. When we are on the MSN, invite one another for a
game it will open on both ends, but on our end ther's a little circle that
keeps going around and around like it's still connecting but nothing happens
further than that. I don't know if anything else is missing or what seems to
be the problem. Our computer friend doesn't seem to know what the problem is
either, he has uninstalled and reinstalled few programs, still nothing to
avail. Please help, we are starting to get frustrated with this new program.

I look forward hearing from you shortly, thanks.

Solve the Problem before it becomes a problem...

RE: Online Card Games

Grammarcheck, What version of Vista are you useing??? I just got into and
play a game or checkers with no problem. I did have to accept a lot of
security boxes but it did work after that. I am useing business version of
vista. I hope that this works. Oh and I did play a game of hearts aslo so
that also works. I would say that you have to sign into MSN then go from
there. Hope this helps.

Re: Online Card Games

Canastajune, You have to go though all of the security checks (agreeing) to
them. I had to go though about 8-10 security check boxes then it worked
fine. I would retry the game again. Oh I am using the wondows vista
business version.
