| | Re: Vista Cant Connect to Xbox 360 It's most likely a firewall of some sort. For example, I have OneCare installed. By default, without OneCare, Vista would instantly see my 360 when I turned it on. However, with OneCare installed, it refused to see the 360 even when I tried. However, after going into my firewall settings and allowing "Xbox 360 and Media Center Extenders" and "Xbox 360 and network Media Players" under "Ports and Protocols" it saw the 360 with a pop up message and allowed me to configure it normally from there. I hope this helps, Gordon "stupidcow." <stupidcow.@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3A90F077-389F-4F83-A0E5-1D6938F10F11@microsoft.com... > I try to add the 360 to media centre but when it goes to point where it > says > 'configuring extender settings' or something like that, it just doesnt > work. > Please help! |
