Vista - Tiger Woods 2007 + NVIDIA + Vista

Newest driver fixed problems I was having--if you meet the above 3 criteria
and were having trouble running TW2007 in windows vista try beta driver
version 165.01.

It starts off like it always did with everything black but if I have to
flip out to the desktop and back the 3D view will draw. I have to do that
with every new hole but sooner rather than later it will crash with a display
driver failed error.

So it's ALMOST there but not yet.

I have the same exact problem. Blacking out at every hole and crashing
around the 6th.

it "is" a beta driver scroll down about 1/2 way down lisat for version 165.01

My game has started becoming less friendly again--make sure the nvidia
driver service is running--it will be by default but can be disabled in
msconfig etc. When I disabled this "nvidia driver service 165.01" then
TW2007 went back to behaving like before--but when this service is up the
game runs.

Something recently (possibly a vista update) sent me scrambling recently
when TW started acting up again but the latter service I mentioned makes the
difference. I have had to roll back twice now to this driver version also
since newer drivers "break" Tiger Woods 21007 sall over again.

I have no idea what makes this version special--it does seem to install
itself to a different place then other drivers straight from NVIDIA...other
than that I can't tell why it is 'special" at this point.
