Vista games

When I click on any of Vista games (chess titan, inkball) I get an error
message
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create
an association in the Set Association control panel." Plz help.

Re: Vista games

Did you use a registry hack or 3rd party tweaking utility to remove the
overlay arrows on your desktop icons? This is one of the side effects.

An error occurs when you try to run a game from Games Explorer in Windows
Vista:

Re: Vista games

If the tweaking utility doesn't remove the IsShortcut registry value, then
this problem doesn't occur.

Re: Vista games

Because there are other ways of removing the arrow. If your particular
tweaking program doesn't change the IsShortcut entry, then it will work fine
on yours and many others. If a different tweaking program does alter the
IsShortcut entry, as many do, it will not work.

Her's probably did, while yours did not.
