cross platform gaming

Word has it that Vista came out with being able to play with xbox 360 users.
When will this happen? and also will you be able to do it with the current
game titles, such as GRAW and GRAW2 that is out for both platforms? Halo and
Halo2? Prey? Or when this happens, will they make games specifically for this?

Re: cross platform gaming

Not yet. Windows Live Gaming is still in Beta, but the game would have to
support the Live feature, either native or through a patch. Halo 2 should
include it. The PC version includes everything the XB360 has, and can even
use the same Live subscription and gamer cards.

Not sure on an exact release date on the Windows Live Games, though.

The only game that has been announced for cross platform play is
Shadowrun. None of the existing games will, including Halo 2.
