Vista - Stubbs the zombie useless in Vista

Is there a way to get this working in Vista ?
I asked a question of the makers, "Aspyr" and got a polite "Couldn't give a
toss" answer.
If this is the reaction of the game makers, is there any hope of ever
playing this game on Vista ?

You're SOL. Stubbs the Zombie uses Starforce for copy protection.
Starforce is incompatible with Vista and none of the Starforce games work
under Vista.

Irritating, some stinking game protection stopping it working. So, in
essence, you're honest, you buy the game, and the sh*t they put in the game
buggers it up.

We call Starforce 'Starfarce' ;-) And we have boycotted anything that uses
it.

Is this a UAC issue ? Or no matter what this doesn't work ? What other games
use it ? I'm wanting to play now

This is *false*. I play Silent Hunter 3 which uses StarForce, I just had to
install the driver for it from
http://www.star-force.com/protection.phtml?c=83&id=963
