Vista - Game installation failure on kick switch

This the same question that
i also posted on installation and setup.

I was installing a game on my new computer with vista and about 95% in, I
kick a switch and the computer crashed. Vista see it as an installed game,
but the program doesn't work. Then I uninstalled the program, but it did not
do a clean uninstall. So I just trash the incomplete file and reinsert the
installed disk. Every time I try to reinstall, it ask me to uninstall. So I
can't reinstalled it no more. So how do I get a clean and full uninstall so
I can get a install to work properly.

I just figured it out.

Delete the corresponding install folder in Sheild Installation Information
file under Program Files. Got to figure out the correct folder, which the
uninstall shortcut should taget.
