Vista - monitor blinking

[I] have downloaded FSX Demo but my old 19 inch monitor is blinking.
What is the solution? I have an new Computer with plenty power[.TThanks

Make sure you have the newest video drivers for your video card, first off.
Make sure your resolution is set correctly, as well.

have you the newest drivers and have you tried changing the resolution
of the monitor?

Hi,
I am having the same issue with the video blanking out every other second or
so.
Windows Vista and FSX both set at 1680x1050x32. Installed latest EVGA NVIDIA
video driver for my Geforce 8800GTS card. No change. Video card still
switching on and off. I don't know if this would happen with another
program. New install of both Vista Ultimate and FSX. Nothing else on the
computer as yet.
I have all the latest upgrades for Vista installed and the service pack 1
for FSX.
It's always something!
