| | Is there a public news server that carries these newsgroups? Using the browser method is difficult, it won't show what threads have been answered. I tried accessing my ISPs news server via the Outlook Newsreader, but it does not carry this newsgroup, only "microsoft.public.windows.vista.general" Is there a public source for these newsgroups, or do I have to hit up my ISP and start asking them for help? Check out dotsrc @ http://dotsrc.org/usenet/. That is what I'm using to read this group. It is free... Albeit with Microsoft Entourage, which isn't the best newsreader I've seen. |

| | Re: Is there a public news server that carries these newsgroups? Microsoft's public news server is free, and offers these groups. Setup Outlook Express to use the news server: msnews.microsoft.com -- Dustin Harper dharper@vistarip.com http://www.vistarip.com -- "Mark" <Mark@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news B0702EB-DC82-477A-BB52-06607986BAF4@microsoft.com...> Using the browser method is difficult, it won't show what threads have > been > answered.
