Guild Wars (Prophecies)

Well, I just got my new HP Media Center m8000n. It has 2GB of RAM, about
400GB of space, an LG FlatIron Wide monitor (1680 x 1080 or something
like that) and a bunch of good stuff. I got a NVIDIA 8600 GT OC
graphics card to go with it and installed the drivers. I recently
installed my old copy of Guild Wars on it and started playing the game.
I type in my info and start to get frustrated. No cursor is visible.
It's nearly impossible to play the game without it being visible. Any
help?

Which drivers? I recommend the latest from http://www.guru3d.com or
http://www.nvidia.com

Drivers, try different resolutions, try switching to windowed mode, run in
XP compatibility mode, try disableing some features like Desktop
Composition, or the Desktop Enhancements (Aero) (all these are found when
you bring up the properties for the guild wars .exe file under
compatibility)

Good luck,
Andy
