Vista - halo 2

halo 2

has anybody had problems installing halo 2 i cannot get it to install ,i get
the openning Halo 2 screen as the graphic's move across it stops and i get
the message program has stopped working i have all the latest nvidia drivers
i have a 8800 dx10 graphic card . my machine is well up to spec has anybody
had a similar problem and how did you over come it ?

Steve,
there is a workaround that seems to be helping some people, try this:

thanks mark but no it did'nt work ,i have managed now to have installed the
game but soon as the Halo 2 title comes up it freezes and says its not
responding
my spec is almost the same as yours AMD 4200+ 64 x2 dual core Asus
A8n32-sli Deluxe dual 2GBS crucial Ram 8800gts 320mb vista ultimate 64 bit

If my bungie logo shows, the machine crashes and its to late, in order to
stop my problem I have to keep pressing spacebar until I get past that
screen. Then it works fine.

I tried the esc button but it will not prevent the bungie logo from loading,
go figure!
