| | MSXML 4.0 is not Propr=erly Installed After upgrading to Windows Vista Home Premium, Rise of Legends does not work anymore. Trying to open ROL results in the SUBJECT error message. Uninstalling and reinstalling ROL does not help. Reboot does not help. Two Microsoft Programs and no fix to be compatible found on MS website? | | Re: MSXML 4.0 is not Propr=erly Installed This problem is due to an upgrade glitch with Windows Vista. The problem only occurs on computers that used the upgrade option for installing Vista over their old OS. A clean install of vista will have any of the games running smoothly. As a general rule, less work goes into debugging an upgrade install than the clean install... so, it's just a good idea in general to do an install on a clean format anyways, especially since you don't know how old software will interfere with the new OS. -- veritoanimus Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
