BF2142 cd error

i have installed vista home premium and whenever i run bf2142 i get the
please insert bf2142 install disk to continue message.

now my dvd-ram drive is working fine as is the actual dvd and i have set
program to run as admin.

anyone know how i can rectify this?

I have the same problem. I'm running Win Vista 32. I've installed BF 2142
patch 1.4. I'm getting the same error. Has anyone figured out what's going
on here and how to resolve it...?
