Vista Tutorial - Chess Titans

Can anyone help me to get the program Chess Titans working.

When I try to run Chess Titans I get a succession of error messages, saying

1. it "could not find texture [Media\BoardPorcelain.dds]" has failed to
install

2. "The D3D device has a non-zero reference counct, meaning some objects
were not released."

3. "Failed creating Direct3D device objects"

4-6. repeat of 1 to 3 above.

It then crashes without starting. I have tried to run it as soon as Vista
starts with the same result (although the messages may have been similar).

Is there anyway I can re-install just it and not the whole Windows Vista?

Yes there is:
Config Screen/Programs/Programs and (parts?, running Dutch version so dont
know the EN word..)/ At your lef: last option: Turing Windows parts on or
off (or something like that)Find Chess Titans, Unselect it... OK
Redo the same thing but this time select it..

Thanks very much, but unfortunately it did not remedy the problem which
persists.
