Vista - Halo 2 won't play

Okay i have had this comp for 3 days now, i have all the updates and all the
min and max for running this game. I load the game up and i can't get anymore
than about 45 seconds into the main menu when it tells me there is a prob and
shut me out. I have reinstalled but it still does the same thing. I can
hardly get to the setting screen on the main window b/c it is so choppy.

Can you please clarify as to what the actual problem/window says when the
application shuts down? Also, does your hardware support vista as well as
halo running together? What type of video card do you have and does it have
enough power to play halo?

Try this. Right click on the Halo icon on your desk top. hit the
COMPATABILTY tab and tick run as Xp. Also tick the bottom where it says run
as administrator.

Should work fine. Had the same problems with CoD

Halo 2 is Vista only, if you set the game to Windows XP it won't run, well
it might, but it'll complain that you aren't running in Vista and to install
the game in Vista.

Mera65, post your system configuration, vista version, hell anything you can
think of about your computer. Just saying your computer is fast enough
doesn't really help us here.

I played H2 on Vista just fine. Actually I beat it already :-)
It must be your video spec, too low to handle Vista and H2.

Do not sey compatibility Mode XP. VH2 is a Vista only game.
