| | Game Launcher error and games not saving I have encountered numerours game problems with Vista. The worst that I've had so far is that the game installed does not even launch! This concerns Pogo downloaded games Fairy Godmother Tycoon and Lottso Deluxe. I have contacted Pogo and they ran their Easyinfo V2 software to see what causes the error and it was determined that it was my Norton 360 (specifically lowering the security settings related to Java or Applets). I contacted Symantec/Norton and we disabled the firewall and the anti-virus of the Norton 360 but the error is still the same. Symantec/Norton now says that it is not their software that's causing the problem. Mind you I had adjusted the compatibility option to run in XP2 and each time I try to run the games I run it as an administrator. Another issue is that the downloaded games from BigFish does not save the game progress. These games do not have the option to save your progress but it saves it for you whenever you exit the game. Every time I play the game, I end up starting from sratch! Can anybody out there help me please? This is really getting me so frustrated that I'm wishing that I never bought my new computer with Vista. Thanks. |
