| | Mouse Wheel dont work in games I recently got a computer from Dell. My problem is that the mouse wheel doesnt work in games. It works in all other apps, but no matter what I do, it doesnt work in the games I try to play (first person shooters). I have it mapped correctly and everything. By default the MS wheel up & down are mapped to cycle through your inventory. So its already mapped to them, but if I try to go in and map it manually, it just acts like there is no wheel on my mouse. Any ideas? I've already tried installing drivers, and adjusting the settings in my mouse suite program. I also had dell do a remote connect, all they did was try to update the drivers. I'm running out of options. |

I'm running out of options. Uninstall the manufacturer's drivers and use the ones that come with the OS, OS will load them automatically. That's what I do and my five button mouse works perfectly in both XP and Vista. If that doesn't work then your mouse is crap and should be exchanged for a Logitech MX518 gaming mouse. |
