Hey man, just toss the cd in your drive, and when the screen comes up click
"install.exe" or the equivalent. I'm sure it works fine, as its a mainstream
game (hell i have it and I love it... i'm about to install it on my vista
ultimate). So far GTA: SA, and BF2, and BF 2142 run as good as they did in
XP pro, if not better in vista... is it me or does DX10 make a difference
even in DX9 games?

Actually it's not possible, DirectX 9 games use DirectX 9 driver libraries.
Even if you have DirectX 10 on your system, your game, if it only uses
DirectX 9, won't even know 10 is there.

I personally find Vista to run worse than my XP Box, and my XP box is single
core where my Vista box is dual.

That said, Guild Wars (as always) runs great on both.
