The Sims2 expansion packs help me please

I have just purchased a new pc and have installed The Sims2 plus all
expansion packs only to have an error message come up saying to Insert
correct CD-Rom in drive and restart when I go to play. I have changed the
compatability mode to windows xp, have checked to make sure the disks are all
good. I have uninstalled it all and then started one by one again. I can
install up to Nightlife but when I get to Open for Business the error message
shows up again. I uninstalled it and tried Pets and the error message shows
up again. Somebody please help me I am so frustrated. My graphics card is
an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX. I've updated the directX.

RE: The Sims2 expansion packs help me please

ok. I have finally figured it out. The Sims, University, and Nightlife all
have to be set to windows xp compatable, but all of the other expansion packs
should not. If they are set that way the puter will have troubles finding
the disc. Thank you everyone
