Try installing again. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Problem installing Halo 2 Alright, I've tried going to the root of the problem here. The redists/vcredist.msi file claims to need the Windows Visual c++ Distributable Disk to continue. I previously had no knowledge of such a disk, and I know for sure I don't have said disk. I've tried running the setup as an admin, and I can't find the "run as admin" when I right click this file. I just got this game yesterday, and so far I've installed the Vista service pack 2 and I've done everything I could possibly think of. Now I'm stuck. |

Make sure that you have all the Important updates installed. You may need to uninstall the Halo 2, if it is listed You might need to get the Windows Installer Cleaner so as to delist the Halo 2 / C ++ entries. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Problem installing Halo 2 Alright, I've gone through all the important updates and I've downloaded the cleaner. I'm still getting the same exact message. User cancelled installation might be the key words here. |
