XBox 360 only, no announcement for PC version, but if they stick to
Halo/Halo 2 release sechedule you can probably play the game in 2009-2010.
(Halo took 2 years to come out, Halo 2 took 3 years. Maybe Halo 3 will take
4 years... /shrug)

Re: Halo3?

Microsoft can kiss my backside if they think I am buying any game they release to the Xbox 360 only. I am a PC gamer and refuse to buy an XBOX 360. So all they are doing with that mind set is making me keep my money.

Why do they want to dominate just the console market? Why not dominate all gaming markets?

Because they are in a battle against Nintendo and Sony for market
share. Exclusive AAA titles encourage people to buy consoles.

Oh I'm getting a 360, just waiting for a reason. Mass Effect and Rock Band
have my devotion, so if they want me to buy a 360. I will buy a 360.

I'm a PC Gamer, and I LOVE the XBox 360, it is a great piece of hardware, as
is my Atari 2600, 5200, 800, Lynx, Jaguar, Nintendo Gameboy Adv, DS, Wii, MS
XBox, Sony PS2, PSP, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, etc.

PC gaming is fun, but occasionally I like diversions. I built my own arcade
controller too. Built in ITX PC running MAME off a 2gig sd ram card. I love
it, it even has a Tempest Spinner (reproduction) on it.

My point?

You are not a gamer. I wouldn't say I'm not a gamer either, not by todays
standards, and I think the term "Gamer" is thrown around a bit too loosely
for my tastes. IMO Microsoft is doing pretty good work for gaming, the only
thing I don't like (which I think you can agree with me on) is the whole XNA
dev platform, I mean Microsoft is basically turning PCs into consoles, with
a set of standards/certifications that would make the most restrictive
console platform blush. DirectX is great, but let game devs come up with
their own control schemes for peats sake.
