Vista OS and games

I am not able to play any of the games on the internet because they are not
compatible with the Vista OS. What is the plan to change this?

Right click the game shortcut and select run in administrator mode and they
should run fine. Internet MP games usually need admin mode because of the
anti-cheat software they use.

Re: Vista OS and games

Like on msn games, Flo on the Go, etc. Some has suggested right clicking on
it and choosing run in admin. mode. I'll try that.

FFXI wont load

Hmmm the playonline program dont even load up or ffxi for that matter. It
saids "playoline has stopped working" when i click on it. It installed
correctly and i tried running as admin and still does it. I just got a new
comp with vista installed, Even made it as an exception for it to run through
firewall since its a game u play over internet and that didnt even work. Is
there anything else i can do?

Another thing you can try is to turn off DEP for just that game's exe. That
sometimes causes issues for games that are not Vista compliant.
