Vista - can t work my game

i just bought my computer with vista and also got wsop tournament of
champions 2007 edition i installed which it took forever then when i click to
play it says error d3dx9_30.dll was not found i don t know what to do i don t
know anything about computers really so if someone could explain in computer
illiterate terms i d appreciate it thank you i also want the game oblivion
but i m scared to not be able to play iy

There may have been an option (under typical installation) to install directx9.0c when you installed the game...reinstall do it.

You can also open up the program file of the game on your hard drive, look for the directx folder, dx9.0c folder and find the .exe program to launch it manually...if you know how.

I had this problem with Silent Hunter 4...solved it.

type in Direct x 9 in your web browser, go to the microsoft site and
download directX 9.0c, should cure the problem
