Re: halo 2 min requirements

Just to make sure, you know that Halo2 only runs on Vista, right? If your
laptop is XP it won't install/run.

The minimum Windows Experience Index (WEI) for Halo2 is 3.0, check your WEI
in the control panel under the "Performance information and tools" icon (in
classic view). I don't know how the installer works but if your WEI is too
small it may not let you install. You can find out what is holding the
laptop back (usually display speeds) with WEI.

Hope that helps!

thanx for quick reply mark. laptop is vista, i didnt mention that as this is a vista forum my wei is 3.3 and that is the graphics thats holding it back. any more suggestions welcome. might try changing power settings to max performance as maybe the installer is seeing the 'cool and quiet' speed for the cpu, just guessing though.

Re: halo 2 min requirements

what I had to do with my laptop was get rid of amd's power saving software
and let it run wide open all the time. Most games would read my processor
at ~800 when it was a 2ghz. That helped me out immensely......
