I just answered a similar question, 6 up from yours, "some games are not
compatible with Vista".
The usual advice probably applies at least initially. Try installing the
latest graphics and sound card drivers, & get the latest game patch. See what
happens.
You could also try compatibility mode. I'm not sure about this, but I've
seen a couple of times that you may also have to run the installation program
in compatibility mode too. Seems bizarre, I know, but some of these people
are IT pro's.
