"if you have Windows Vista, try this... open up your command prompt (start > all programs > accessories > command prompt) and type in: net localgroup administrators NetworkService /ADD Then try your msinfo32 & Orange Boxed products. This fixed both for me and now I'm happily playing TF2 & the new Episodes of HL2.
