World of Warcraft Problem

Hi, everytime I try to install WoW on my Dell Inspiron 1520 notebook, I get
the following error at about 98% way through to the installation.

"The file "C:\Program Files\World of
Warcraft.temp\Data.temp\enUS.temp\Documentation.temp" could not be renamed to
"C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft.temp\Data.temp\enUS.temp\Documentation".
(ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1)"

I'm running Windows Vista and I have a 8600GT with 2 gigs of ram. I have no
idea why this is happening, can anyone find a solution for me please?

Thanks!

Re: World of Warcraft Problem

There are lots of people on this list who are playing WOW under Vista so it
must work.

A couple of easy things to try:
1 - delete the C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft.temp folder. Its possible
it got messed up during the installs and the file is locked, preventing new
attempts at installing from working.
2 - right click on the setup.exe file on your cd and select "Run As
Administrator", it might help if its a permissions issue

Hope that thelps!
Mark
