Quake Wars

Hello

Does anyone know if Quake Wars is multiplayer only like World of Warcraft
and what specs you need to run it well? I have a Quad Core 6600, two 8800GTS
in SLI mode and 4gb under Vista 32bit.

Thanks Shawn

quad core, SLi (waste of money), and 4gb ram and you're running Vista 32?

Quake Wars is multiplayer (no idea if bots will be supported), but it's not
like WoW, it's more like Day of Defeat or Counter Strike.

If you want to see what Enemy Territory is going to be like, download the
Wolfenstein version of Enemy Territory, it's FREE, the whole ____ing game is
FREE. It's only about a 270mb download and it's a lot of fun to play. No
idea if there are many servers up, but W:ET has been around for like 5 years
now, and save for new maps and some skills, the new ET is almost identical
to the old one.

RE: Quake Wars

I think fileplanet was having a beta trial of this game for a while you can
see if they are still having it. I think you might have to have a
subscription but hey if you wanna try it out, worth it possibly?

Re: Quake Wars

If you got Half life 2 installed or another game that uses steam the beta is
also available via steam--that's how I got it.
