| Guest | Start menu "Frequently used programs list" no longer shows any pro After having disabled the "Store and display a list of recently opened files" and "Store and display a list of recently used programs" options in the Taskbar Properties dialog box, I realized I made a mistake because I didn't want all the frequently used programs to disappear. So I re-enabled the option to display the recently used programs. Unfortunately, it still has no effect - I checked and unchecked and logged off and restarted and still not a single program shows up in the start menu. If anybody has an idea of what's going on, please help. |

| Guest | Re: Start menu "Frequently used programs list" no longer shows any pro It takes a little before recently used programs start showing up on the Start menu. When start using the apps more than once they will eventually appear there. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "rbilei" <rbilei@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:44E181C4-FBDA-4F53-99A0-E6A84DD45C45@xxxxxx Quote: > After having disabled the "Store and display a list of recently opened > files" > and "Store and display a list of recently used programs" options in the > Taskbar Properties dialog box, I realized I made a mistake because I > didn't > want all the frequently used programs to disappear.
