| | Mail - reading messages in newsgroups Final thing: anyone else notice if you're reading messages in Windows Mail that there is an up and a down arrow to read the next / previous messages - as always. EXCEPT that the down arrow now shows PREVIOUS and the up arrow shows NEXT . Since when does DOWN = previous ? < MAIL refresh> just popped up again over this window. I'm done |

| | Re: Mail - reading messages in newsgroups Well I'm on my X64 Beta 2 and newsgroup reading arrows are correct here. Clicking NEXT got me thru this thread. In x86 clicking " the down arrow" reads the previous message rather than reading down and expanded thread. | | Re: Mail - arrows for reading messages in newsgroups It occurred to me - maybe the position is incorrect, so I took a snap of Vista Mail screen and it looks like that's my problem: gif inserted here ( need html on to view) See how OE has previous= on Left, Next = on the right ? When I hover over my x86 Mail icons the wording is just like OE, BUT my arrows are wrong ! Does yours look like this too ? Maybe if I turn on "text labels" it would be right - I didn't try it yet, but will later. In fact, if you re-sort the mail (say by date sent) the mail is obviously switched into different order, yet the arrows and tags stay exactly the same... -- - Nutty - "Mark D.
