Is it true Vista ships with both 32 and 64 bit versions in the same package?
So I don't have to choose?

retail boxes come with 32-bit, the 64-bit version can be ordered for a
shipping and handling fee.
The OEM versions are specific to 32-bit or 64-bit.

I should have mentioned that. But 64 bit is available with the other
versions upon request at no charge, yes? So, it doesn not ship with but is
easily available and FREE for any version except Vista basic.

Agreed, but didn't want the OP to think when they go to Best Buy to purchase
Vista Home Premium, both 64 and 32 bit disk would be in package.

get the other for no extra charge... SOMEHOW... correct?
All the retail editions include 32 bit, but for the editions that do not
include 64-bit disk, you will need to pay a small shipping and handling fee
I assume to get the disk. Please see Richards previous post.
