| | WLMessenger & 64 bit Vista Beta 2. Seems the installation of WLMessenger has crippled my Vista. WLM gives error on sign in, error when trying to uninstall & reinstall, IE gives error when launched (unable to use). Unable to install or uninstall any programs due to same error, some other programs fail to launch. At this stage this is where I reinstalled a fresh copy of vista and as long as I don't install WLM everthing is rock solid all devices and programs functioning properly. -- Steve (x64man) |

That would have been an option if I didn't run with it disabled. -- Steve (x64man) "MICHAEL" wrote: > > "Steve" <Steve@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:5DBD5C27-3238-44B9-9791-A8B5C6098338@microsoft.com... > > Seems the installation of WLMessenger has crippled my Vista. | | Re: WLMessenger & 64 bit Vista Beta 2. For future reference- if you don't won't to turn on System Restore, try using Complete Backup. This is probably one of the best features Microsoft has added to Vista. -Michael "Steve" <Steve@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4D72BD9E-BADF-4635-B033-AA91CCC62F63@microsoft.com... > That would have been an option if I didn't run with it disabled. > -- > Steve > (x64man) > > > "MICHAEL" wrote: > >> >> "Steve" <Steve@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:5DBD5C27-3238-44B9-9791-A8B5C6098338@microsoft.com... >> > Seems the installation of WLMessenger has crippled my Vista.
