| | Windows Mail Newsgroup Rule Filters For those of you who have spent a deal of time creating your kill file, and would like to save it if you have to reinstall the O/S from scratch, or have to roll back to a previous disk image - here's how! Open regedit and browse to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Rules] Highlight the entry and right click | Export Give it a name you won't forget, such as "Delete These Fools" Browse to where you want to save this file. Now if you have reinstall the operating system from scratch you can go to this .reg file and double click to run. The entries will be applied to your fresh operating and the fools will continue to be blocked. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) |
