troubel surfing some secured website

https://www.microsoft.com works of course but some of bank sites just will
work. one that usually pops a new window to start a secured session still
opens a new instance of IE, creates a tab and would not display anything but
the standard "can not display" page. SSL and TLS protocols are enabled.

other major banking site seem to work with https.
is that just the banking site from pc financial or is my installed version
B5348 being corrupt?

Re: troubel surfing some secured website

This is an issue with IE7 in Vista. A workaround until it is fixed, is to
click Tools-Internet Options then go to the advanced tab, scroll down to
almost the bottom and uncheck Use TLS 1.0 Restart the browser and you should
be good to go.

Re: troubel surfing some secured website

Tried your tip with
https://www.accountonline.com/View?d...d=AC&langId=EN but it is
still a no go.

Re: troubel surfing some secured website

My Bank will not let me access my account with IE7. They do not allow beta
anything in. It is their policy. It is not a bug. Contact your bank to
see if this is the issue.

Do you really want to access your banking online with a Beta OS and a
Beta Browser full of bugs?

Maybe it will be OK, personally I don't think its the best idea in the
world.
